Travel Nursing in Seattle

Seattle—Seattle, which is snuggled between the Puget Sound and Lake Washington, is nicknamed “Emerald City” because of the lush Evergreen trees that surround the area. It’s not only Washington’s largest city, but it’s the largest city in the Pacific Northwest, which means plenty of activities and entertainment. No trip to Seattle is complete without a trip to the Space Needle, a prominent symbol of the Seattle skyline; Pike Place Market, a smorgasbord of local venders selling food, crafts, knick knacks and jewelry; and one of the countless cafés around the city.

“Space walking” in Washington

  • Tony Z., RN
  • Seattle, Washington

I just finished up my assignment at Good Samaritan in Washington and am headed out to Ohio for my next assignment with Access Nurses. Seattle was a beautiful city full of so much culture and history. This picture was taken at The Seattle Museum of Flight at the Boeing Facility. It's also a place where the visitor has a chance to be interactive, which is my favorite. Any opportunity I get to make myself look silly is well worth it. Seeing as I probably will never have the chance to space walk in my lifetime, this was the closest I could come.
